Rings of Smoke

Where shall the word be found, where will the word | Resound? Not here, there is not enough silence

another sad poem

i will write another sad poem-
tonight,i will again think of her,
prometheus’ curse placed upon my heart,
she(i?) eats it out everynight,
only to grow back in the day..
another cycle-a blessing?

because,tonight,i will remember again,
those hours of bright sunshine,
intensified yet,by her bright smile,
will remember again,that laugh,
the way the wind played with those hair,
and tonight,i will write another sad poem.

because,tonight,i will remember again,
those moonlit walks denied me,
the words that were said in imagination only,
and the magic that was never quite created…
except fro fleeting,transcedent moments,
when eden was created inside of a ribcage,
i shall remember again.
prometheus’ curse-a blessing.

perhaps.
and so,i will remember again,
the desires that wracked my body,
the lemony twinge of touch,
and the bittersweet taste of togetherness,
and the tangy flavour of yearning,
because i will feel again,tonight,
my tingling love for her.

and so,i will write another sad poem;
because i know she is never coming back.

  • About The Line under the Blog Name

The lines generally are from some poem which I have, at some point of time or the other, loved. I do not mean, by including them, to be snotty or pretentious- but I would love it if you could identify the lines, and take much joy if you were interested enough to search them and read the original poems. If not- you can ignore them.
