Ae Ishq Humein Barbaad Na Kar

kuch aisi baat hai jo kahi nahi jati,
tum ab bhikhwab ban ke aankhon me aati ho,
aur udaasi ban ke dil pe bikhar jaati ho.
tumhari hansi yaad aati hai kabhi,
chhanakte ghungroo pehne raat shabnam bikher rahi ho jaise,
ya kuch bolte bolte tumhara yuun khamosh ho jaana,
mano khusboo bikherti hawa,
ek-a-ek tham jaaye..
tumhara muskurana,tumhaari aankhein,tumhari zulphein,
tumhare hone ka ehsaas..
lafz naquaabil hote hain,
ye tumhara hona bayaan nahi kar sakte…

aur na hi tumhara na hona..

tumhara gham bhi ajeeb hai,
kisi se bayaan karoon to kaise,
kab se tumhaari yaad ko dil se lagaye baitha hoon,
ehsaas me lipta ek behki huyi si udaasi ke,
jahan is pagli hawa ke har jhonke me mujhe tum chhoo jati ho,
jahan baarish ki boondon me ghuli huyi hai tumhari hansi,
jahan phool tumhari muskaan le ke khilte hain..

kisi ko kaise bataoon,
tumhara gham bhi ktna khoobsurat hai,
tumhare jaisa hansta,khilkhilata,
mere jism se lipta hua sa, meri har saans me basa..
lekin mujhse juda nahi,
mera apna…sirf mera..

This one is just excellent. Dil ko chhoo lene wali. Once again I felt the words. It is so natural, I am sure you did not take much time to pen it down.

Forwarding it to one of my friends.

  • About The Line under the Blog Name

The lines generally are from some poem which I have, at some point of time or the other, loved. I do not mean, by including them, to be snotty or pretentious- but I would love it if you could identify the lines, and take much joy if you were interested enough to search them and read the original poems. If not- you can ignore them.
