am watching aakhiri raasta right now…and just now was listening to the song. it comes from the days when the inimitable duo of laxmi-pyare used to create irrepressible melodies [sic] and the song has phrases like “naka naka go”   :P

but still, in one of the most obvious set pieces of hindi cinema, it still felt refreshing to see AB and the beautiful Sridevi dancing with a gaggle of schoolkids, though i dont understand what AB is about, telling lovestories to schoolkids  :) still… a change from half-nude chorus dancers we have today gyrating their pelvises to phrases far more incomprehensible than the “naka naka go” [which is not to say that the dancers are not nice  /wink wink]

 

ohh, and the lyrics go…gori ka saajan,saajan ki gori|lo ji; shuru ho gayi lovestory…wo ja rahi hai meri heroine,hero ka dil kar ke chori  [just in case any ofyou were wondering about the title of the post]

    The lines generally are from some poem which I have, at some point of time or the other, loved.
