Rings of Smoke

Where shall the word be found, where will the word | Resound? Not here, there is not enough silence

spanish

night classes till 1am for spanish are a major pain,of course, but studying a language can be very imtertaining at times.like today.

this exchange:

“donde trabajas, Monique?”   [where do you work, Monique?]
“En un centro de deportes. Soy masajista”

now deportes is sports,…and the instructor explains it like that…and that monique is a masseur there.

now now…i hear “ports”…and immediately shoot off…”sir, isnt it more like to be a telegrapher or a clerk?i mean…what would a masseur do in a port?”  :P

ROTFL!!!

Ha Ha… all languages give us funny moments sometimes.

  • About The Line under the Blog Name

The lines generally are from some poem which I have, at some point of time or the other, loved. I do not mean, by including them, to be snotty or pretentious- but I would love it if you could identify the lines, and take much joy if you were interested enough to search them and read the original poems. If not- you can ignore them.
